Eric and Shirlyn were married at Cecil Green, at UBC. They were some of the best clients to work with as they were open to ideas about flowers and style with regards to their wedding. The main element we started with was the Groom's red serge - the formal attire of the RCMP. Shirlyn wanted to make sure that the red flowers we chose did not clash with the serge, so we opted with a bold & vibrant colour choice.

Shirlyn was escorted to the ceremony with an RCMP motorcycle brigade which allowed her to proceed at every intersection!

The large flower trees designed by Bloom Room were used at the front of the aisle, during the cermony. They added height to the surroundings, yet did not take away from the ceremony. The flower trees were moved into the reception area where they were plugged into the wall - hidden white lights helped alluminate the middle room at Cecil Green. They were truly part of the ambience as the celebration continued into the night.

Bloom Room continued with the bold colour scheme of orange, red & blue when designing the centerpieces for the guest tables, but instead of keeping the arrangements mixed, they were colour blocked. Each guest table had either all red, all orange or all blue flowers in the vases. In the bottom part of the vase, hosta leaves were used as an added touch.
