Kara & Paul were focused and thorough when planning their wedding. It was a joy to work with such great people - they knew the "feel" they wanted for their wedding guests, but were flexible to ideas and suggestions about the floral elements.

Bloom Room created four "flower trees" at two different heights for the ceremony which were later moved to the reception so that they could be enjoyed for the remainder of the evening. The entrance to the aisle was marked with flower sticks - wrought iron sticks that came out of the lawn with lovely flower balls atop. Thin ribbon tendrils danced inthe breeze as a welcome to the guests.

The main flower colours of the day were blues & whites, to compliment the darker blue colour of the Bridesmaids' gowns. Kara's bouquet was kept in whites with blue accents, and for the Bridesmaids, Bloom Room added softer mauves and yellows for more texture.

For the head table, Bloom Room kept things simple and used lots of votive candles, and a generous scattering of rose petals and florets of various flowers used in the bouquets. When the Bride & Groom were finished with their photos, they placed the bouquets on the head table for a centerpiece. Kara wanted the guest tables kept simple, so Bloom Room placed several clear glass vases with colour blocked flowers on each table. At the end of the evening, Kara & Paul generously gave these arrangements to the guests.
